Pulse Anesthesia Consultants is a U.S.-based physician-led healthcare transformation and perioperative consulting organization specializing in outpatient surgery, ambulatory care modernization, and same-day joint replacement program implementation. 

Established on January 12, 2023, by its President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of the Board, Dr. Ghassan Aljafar, the organization was founded on the principle that healthcare systems can simultaneously improve clinical outcomes, increase operational efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen long-term sustainability through evidence-based perioperative care systems. 

Shortly after its formation, Pulse Anesthesia Consultants secured a contract to provide anesthesia and perioperative services to Baystate New England Orthopedic Surgery Center, with operations commencing on June 6, 2023. 

Today, Pulse serves as a healthcare transformation partner that helps health systems safely transition high-volume surgical procedures to efficient outpatient care pathways while improving capacity, reducing cost per case, and maintaining exceptional clinical outcomes.
